Apparently I haven't been paying attention to who's been posting comments on this website. So not only did I upgrade to Drupal 6 I also revamped and simplified this website. I've also added a block on the left that lists the most recent comments. And again, I will try to add a few blog entries once in a while but my Twitter feed is far more current.

Yeah yeah yeah, I know I don't update this near enough. I do update my Twitter, (and therefore my Facebook status) on a regular basis, as you can see on the right.

I've added some Durbn Network links on the left that will let you access different areas of the Durbn online network.

Well finally I update... and on a brand new internet connection too.

I was stuck on the crappy 900mhz capped at 40kb/s wireless connection for the last 10 months. I had to trench in a 300 foot pvc pipe to a barn on the other side of the treeline so i could set up a 2.4ghz receiver. Now i've more than double my speed.... not as good as ADSL or cable but a lot more comparable now.

My house is in shambles due to ongoing renovations and my home-office is torn apart as well. I'm going to be installing new vinyl flooring and then building myself a proper desk/workbench. Once I get that all in place I'll be sifting through my spare hardware (at least 4 or 5 computers worth) and building myself some brand new servers to go with the new connection. I freed up one of my computers by building a spiffy new glossy black mini-atx media computer to sit beside my tv. I put in a wireless card to clean up the cables running across my living room floor. Since the house is in ruin anyways i'm taking this opportunity to run network cable to every room possible. Silly electricians think that ONE phone cable to a bedroom is enough.... hah, try 4 network cables.

Anyway, more updates to follow... and i hope at a lot faster pace too. toodles.
