Hey! Congrats you guys!! He's such a handsome little man. So now you have your princess and your prince! Hope everyone is doing well, God bless your family!!!
I don't know you but I DO know Naomi. I went to school with her at Trinity and I would love see her! I've been trying to get in touch with her for awhile. Please pass the info on to her, I would love to get together sometime! e-mail: nicolemelnyk@hotmail.com
Hi Mike,
It's been a very, very long time since we were last kicking around Steinbach playing hacky sack, drinking slurpees and going to hard core/punk shows (circa 2000).
Big congrats on your marriage!!! Huge congrats to you and your wife on making a really adorable baby girl (WOW - you're a FATHER)! I'm really happy for you. (I just tied the knot in March... no babies for us for awhile, hopefully)
So that's my comment. If you want to reply, I'm on facebook (the evil info-mining machine that it is) under Heather Hanwell (you just added me).
Wow, congratulations on the birth of your little girl! She is so gorgeous!!! We are so happy for you guys! Enjoy her... they grow up SO quickly!
Love
Sheila and James
Welcome to Earth in the Sol Solar system, in the Milkyway galaxy little girl, Mike and Naomi are your earthly parents so be nice to them :)
Sorry couldn't help myself... congratulations to both of you. Laura and I are both so happy for you.
mario and sonic is not too bad. but mario party is really good. its lots of fun to play 4 player. and people say warioware is great too, but i rented it, and meh.
the wii channel was 500 points... so $5.00. I picked up Zelda: Twiglight Princess and it's awesome. Beautiful game. I'm also going to return Mario & Sonic Olympics since I haven't opened it yet. I'm working on getting my wife hooked on Wii Sports and then I want her to pick a game. Maybe we'll stick with Mario & Sonic Olympics at that time or maybe get something like Mario Party 8 or Boogie. Something fun and party like.
glad to here you finally found a wii. was the internet channel still free or do they charge for it now? and if you are looking for a cheap fun shooter, along the lines of the old sega on-rails shooters, Ghost Squad is surprisingly fun. And only $29.99.
Yeah I've read a lot different forums and pages and whatnot. I've taken to going over to superstore at least once a day now. I usually go in the morning and then call or go in the afternoon. Hopefully that will snag me one once the shipment arrives. A little dedication never hurt anyone.
Oh... and if any of you winnipeg people see one (for the standard $269), snag it and I will pay you back. But maybe give me a call first to make sure I haven't already got one... of course it wouldn't be THAT hard to unload it on some desperate customer.
ya, i decided last Christmas to get one, and it took till june for me to finally get one. :(
hopefully you'll have better luck then i did! and they are a lot of fun once you get it. I brought mine to family gatherings this year, and it was a blast.
and you can try following this thread, sometimes they have good tips on where to find one.
...I hadn't heard that, in other washing machine news Laura and I picked up a washer/dryer set for $50 each in good working condition, in fact they are still being used till we pick them up on sunday.
You're right. Maytag was always a good name. Apparently in the last few years they release some real bad lemon machines. Not just a single model, but apparently quite a few. Their name was being ground down until Whirlpool bought them now.
...who thought that anyway, I have always heard good things about maytag and whirlpool... I mean what was the point of all those maytag repair man commercials where he has nothing to do. Am I alone in this?
Also I love that manitoba hydro credit too, I switched all my lightbulbs to CFL's with a 1.50 per bulb coming back to me as a credit.
well, i'm one of those that didn't really enjoy the second one. more because it couldn't decide if it was going to be funny like the first, or a little more on the gory side. it just seemed like they tried to hit the extreme on both scales, ie. the funny parts were a little too slapstick for me, and the when the gruesome parts happened, its was a little to over the top at times. like when the guy's eye is getting pecked out.
now, i don't mind messy movies, but this just seem like the director was a little schizophrenic to me.
and hopefully, i'll finally watch transformers this weekend!
Yeah it's sent away already. I would have fixed it myself but it involved taking the screen off and it cost the same amount to send it back to them to fix it.
It's a nvidia go 7900 gs.

ouch, that sucks. can you fix it yourself at least? or is it set away already?
and what kind do you have anyway?
except it would cost me a lot more if i had a Mac.
and my fresh install of Kubuntu Gutsy wouldn't work as nice.
I'm sorry Mike... maybe if you had a Mac it would be okay... :)
Wow!
Congratulations! We are really happy and excited for you guys!!!

Wow, that's awesome Mike!! Congratulations to you both!
